How to participate in this blog...

As many recent participants have mentioned, everyone is so excited for our trip to our country's capitol.  There is so much to learn and so many places that will touch a part of our hearts and minds that could not be fully understood through media.

Students posting to the blog are asked to make their posts substantial in nature.  What I mean by that is that we are not updating our social network status we are sharing our experience with the Littleton community.  So,a blog is like a journal.  Sentences and information is made public for all to read.  Sending a picture with a sentence caption is acceptable.  Writing a paragraph or more reflection on a place or event you see is acceptable.  As authors of this blog, we are inviting our readers to ask us questions and respond to our posts.  This is public, published writing.  Have fun, but know that your audience includes community members, school board members, the superintendent, the principal, teachers, and students who may even be in the elementary school.

Community members, teachers, and students who are following our blog need to know that they are welcome to comment on the postings.  We welcome your questions, suggestions, and insights.  This learning experience we hope to share with all of you.

Each evening and, we hope, frequently throughout the day we will review your comments and provide responses.  We hope to make this an experience that even you will remember.
